Southeast Asia Business Events Forum (SEABEF) 2023

SEABEF 2023 is a back-to-back event following the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2023, organized to leverage Indonesia's chairmanship of ATF 2023. SEABEF took place on February 3, 2023, at the Grand Rohan Hotel, Yogyakarta. This forum served as a platform to discuss key issues in the development of business events (MICE) within ASEAN, particularly during the current recovery period. The discussions focused on three main topics: human resources, crisis management, and sustainability.

The primary objective of SEABEF was to enhance collaboration within the business events (MICE) sector across Southeast Asia and explore the potential of ASEAN as a single business event destination. For the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the forum also marked a significant moment to declare Indonesia's commitment to green meetings.

The event featured speakers, moderators, VIP guests, and participants representing associations and the business events industry from Indonesia, ASEAN member states, Australia, and several other countries.
