1. Borobudur Land Wringin Putih

Borobudur Land is located in Jetis Kayu Hamlet, Wringin Putih Village, Borobudur District, about 4 kilometers from Borobudur Temple. If you walk at a speed of 10 minutes per 1 kilometer, it will take about 40 minutes to reach the location. But if you're a fast walker, you can definitely get there faster! The route to Borobudur Land can be taken through the one-way road in front of Borobudur Temple. Due to its location on this road, it is called Borobudur Land. From its arrangement and the facilities provided, this new tourist area adopts the concept of natural and family-friendly tourism that is Instagrammable, making it suitable for all ages. Borobudur Land Magelang operates every day from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. The admission ticket to Borobudur Land costs Rp40,000 per person. Children with a height of 80cm and above are also required to purchase the admission ticket. In addition, there are additional fees for some attractions, except for the swimming pool. The combined ticket price for all attractions is Rp60,000 per person, including the Rainbow Slide, Monorail, Mini Train, and Flying Chair. It is open from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. On weekends (Saturday to Sunday), it opens from 06:30 AM to 06:00 PM.

5. Watu Putih Borobudur

It is located in Malangan Hamlet, Ngargogondo Village, Borobudur District. It is easier to reach this location by walking for 20-30 minutes from Borobudur Temple. As the name suggests, here you can find white stones and Buddha Head ornaments against the backdrop of cliffs. Watu Putih Borobudur is open from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM on Monday to Friday, and from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

6. Punthuk Setumbu

The name Punthuk Setumbu is probably familiar. This location went viral when it was used as a filming location for the movie "Ada Apa Dengan Cinta" (What's Up with Love?) 2 a few years ago. It is the most popular trekking route for tourists due to its beautiful natural scenery along the way. It is approximately 4 kilometers from Borobudur Temple, but it takes an additional 15-20 minutes to reach the peak by walking. It can be quite tiring, but don't worry, once you reach the top, all your fatigue will be rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise against the backdrop of Borobudur Temple. However, make sure the weather is good when you go up, so your efforts and tiredness won't be in vain. Punthuk Setumbu is open from 04:00 AM to 05:00 PM. The admission ticket costs around Rp20,000 per person. If time still allows, you can continue your journey to Bukit Barede, located very close to Punthuk Setumbu.

7. Wringin Putih Tourism Village

How about taking a leisurely walk to visit Wringin Putih Tourism Village? It is approximately 2.3 kilometers from the Borobudur area. This village offers a serene and beautiful rural landscape with the backdrop of rice fields and the Menoreh Hill landscape.
